What is Tap to Alexa?
Tap to Alexa lets you interact with Alexa using touch on Echo Show devices and Fire tablets.
When you turn on Tap to Alexa, a finger icon appears on the screen. Select this icon to open Tap to Alexa.
Tap to Alexa lets you interact with Alexa without speaking by touching the on-screen tiles. Select the "Ask Alexa" tile and type in a request using the on-screen keyboard.
You can also use Tap to Alexa for Text-to-Speech by typing words or phrases. You can create custom tiles for your favorite phrases or Alexa commands by selecting Add new.
Note: Text-to-Speech is only available on Fire tablets.
Tap to Alexa is compatible with Switch Access on Fire tablets and supports Bluetooth switches.
