Set the Time on Your Kindle E-Reader
Setting the local time on your Kindle e-reader can prevent issues during the device registration.
- Connect your device to a Wi-Fi network.
- From the home screen, swipe down to open the Quick Actions and select All Settings.
- Select Device Options, then select Date and time.
- Select time.
- Enter the current time and tap OK.
- Check the device time at the top of the screen to make sure it displays your local time.
Note: If the time didn't update properly, restart your device and set up the time again.
