Delete a Folder or Notebook on Kindle Scribe

Remove download or permanently delete options are available depending on whether your Kindle Scribe is connected to the internet or not.

• To delete a notebook or folder, select the three-dot menu.
  A checkmark on the notebook cover shows that the notebook is downloaded on your device.
  • Permanently delete removes the notebook from all Kindle devices and apps. You can't recover notebooks after permanently deleting them. The option isn’t available for notebooks or folders created while Sync is off.
  • Remove download removes the notebook from the device and frees up space, but keeps the notebook accessible and shows a default cover of the notebook to easily download again.
