Downloading Purchased Music Using Amazon Music for iOS

Download purchased music files to store them locally or import them to another media player or device.

Note: This topic only applies to purchased content. Titles included as part of Amazon Music Prime and Amazon Music Unlimited can't be copied to your computer or played in another app.

If you already have Amazon Music for PC and Mac installed, go to Download Purchased Music Using the Amazon Music for PC and Mac App.

Always copy purchased music instead of moving it. Moving purchased music may make it unavailable for playback in the Amazon Music app.

  1. Open the Amazon Music app for iOS.
  2. Select Library.
  3. Locate the row of buttons at the top that starts with Playlists.
  4. Scroll the buttons to the left until you find the Purchased button.
  5. You can download either songs or albums:
    • To download songs, sort by recently added, and then select the context menu (three dots) next to the song and choose Download.
    • To download albums, sort by album name, and then select the Download icon.
