Use Passkey on Multiple Devices
Learn how to use passkeys across multiple devices.
Once a passkey is enabled, it is saved to your passkey provider account (for example, your Apple ID or Google account). You will be able to use the passkey on all devices associated with that account.
When signing in to Amazon from another device that uses the same passkey provider account, the passkey will automatically be displayed as a sign in option. If passkey is not automatically displayed, select Sign in with passkey. You will be prompted to use your Face ID, fingerprint, or device PIN to sign in using passkey.
To sign in to your Amazon account from a device that does not have a saved passkey:
- Follow the on-screen instructions to use a passkey from another device.
- Make sure that your Bluetooth is enabled.
- Scan the QR code with the phone or tablet’s camera that has your passkey saved.
- Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm you want to sign in using the passkey.
For devices that are not using the same passkey-provider account, you can add a new passkey for that device.
- In Your Account, select Login & security.
- Select Edit next to Passkey.
- Select Add a passkey.
- Follow the on-screen instructions.
