Themes on Alexa+

Personalize your Alexa+ experience with themes that match your interests.

With an Alexa+ Theme, Alexa responds to your interactions with sounds and visuals that match the theme you select.

For example, when you turn on the Space Theme, Alexa may recommend fun facts or tell jokes fitting the theme.

You can turn themes on or off at no cost. When you turn on a theme, Alexa tells you about the theme and the experiences it offers. Also, the primary account holder receives an email with additional information.

The list of available themes rotate throughout the year. You can explore available themes from home cards on Echo Show devices or ask Alexa directly.

For example, say:

  • "What Alexa themes are available?"

  • "What is an Alexa theme?"

Check Which Theme is Active:

  • "Which theme am I using right now?"
  • "Is any theme currently active?"
  • "Tell me my current theme."

Turn On a Theme:

  • "Turn on <theme name> theme."

Turn Off a Theme:

  • "Turn off the theme."
  • "Stop theme."
  • "Exit theme."
