Echo Buds (2021 release, 2nd gen) Aren't Pairing with a New iOS Device

If your Echo Buds aren't pairing with your iOS device, try these steps:

  1. Unpair Echo Buds from your mobile device's Bluetooth settings.
    1. Open Your mobile device's Bluetooth settings.
    2. Select your Echo Buds and Forget This Device.
  2. Remove Echo Buds from your Alexa account.
    1. Open the Alexa app.
    2. Select Devices, then All Devices.
    3. If your Echo Buds are listed, select them and Deregister.
  3. Factory Reset Your Echo Buds.
  4. Restart your mobile device.
Tip: If your Echo Buds still won't pair after these steps, change the language in your iOS settings, follow pairing steps, then return to the original language.
