Watch Fire TV on Your Compatible Echo Devices with a Screen with Touch

Launch and navigate the Fire TV experience on the screen of compatible Echo devices. Use touch on your compatible Echo devices with a screen to launch and navigate the Fire TV experience.

Note: Settings menu items for the Echo Hub and Echo Show 5 (all generations) may vary, and those devices will receive a software update soon.

To launch the Fire TV experience, select the Fire TV button on the home screen, or go to your device settings.

You can also use the Fire TV widget to open some Fire TV services, such as My Watchlist, Recently Watched, and Recent Apps.

Some video services available with Fire TV have limited touchscreen capabilities. Using such services is best with a compatible Fire TV remote. If you don't have a remote, the Echo Show provides an on-screen virtual remote that works like a physical remote for these services. The virtual remote doesn't appear when you're using a physical remote.

Note: Fire TV isn't available when the Echo Show is in Amazon Kids mode, or when using a kid's Alexa profile. To allow Fire TV on the device, turn off Amazon Kids in the device settings. Then, turn Amazon Kids back on when you're done watching Fire TV.
