Turn On Fire TV Parental Controls on Your Compatible Echo Devices with a Screen
Use settings to restrict access to content types and purchasing through Fire TV.
Note: Settings menu items for
the Echo Hub and Echo Show 5 (all generations) may vary, and those devices will receive a software update soon.
To turn Fire TV Parental Controls on or off:
- Open Fire TV.
- Select Preferences.
- Turn on the switch for Parental Controls.
- Set a PIN to use each time that you want to turn parental controls on or off. Enter the PIN that you want and select OK.
- Select the types of controls that you want to turn on or off.

Note: Set parental controls settings for Fire TV separately from the Echo Show device settings. Each work on different functions and services.
