Use Active Media on Echo Hub

The Active Media shortcut manages audio playback on any of your Alexa speakers and groups.

Select the Active Media shortcut on your Echo Hub dashboard to manage audio media playing on connected devices or groups.

Use it to start or control playback and adjust volume on one device, multiple devices, or on all devices in the Multi-Room Music group.

Select Devices & Groups to move playback to a different device or speaker group.

Note: Active Media doesn’t support showing media playing on third-party speakers. Also, volume control with Active Media doesn't work with these Echo devices:

Echo (1^st or 2^nd Generation)
Echo Plus (1^st Generation)
Echo Show (1^st Generation)
Echo Spot
