Watch Out for Small Parts

Your device and its batteries may present a choking hazard to small children. Keep them out of reach of small children.

BATTERY SAFETY

This product contains alkaline batteries. This Device requires batteries for use. Only use new 1.5 V alkaline or 1.2 NiMH rechargeable AA-sized batteries. Never mix old and new batteries. Keep all of the batteries out of the reach of children. Do not open, disassemble, puncture, cut, bend, shred or heat the batteries and do not allow metal objects to touch the battery terminals on the remote as they can become hot and cause burns. Remove all batteries if they are worn out or before storing your Device for an extended period of time. Dispose of all batteries in accordance with applicable laws and regulations and do not dispose of batteries by throwing them into a fire. If any batteries begin to leak, take steps to prevent the fluid from coming into direct contact with skin or clothes as the fluid could be corrosive and may be toxic. Remove the batteries and clean the battery compartment in accordance with the battery manufacturerʹs recommendations.

Keep metal objects away from the battery contacts in your device. Do not attempt to use metal objects to dislodge batteries.

Maintaining Your Amazon Luna Controller

Do not drop, throw, disassemble, crush, bend, puncture or paint your Luna Controller and take care not to spill any food or liquid on your controller.

Only handle your devices with clean hands. Clean your devices only with a soft cloth that is slightly damp with water and a touch of rubbing alcohol. Be careful not to wipe it with anything abrasive or to use any harsh chemicals. Donʹt expose your devices to steam or extreme heat or cold. For example, do not install your device near any heat sources such as space heaters, heater vents, radiators, stoves or other things that produce heat. Store your Luna Controller in cool, dust-free areas out of direct sunlight.

Do not expose your device to liquids. If your device gets wet, carefully remove all batteries and unplug all cables without getting your hands wet and wait for the device to dry completely before re-inserting batteries or plugging them in again. Do not attempt to dry your device with an external heat source such as a microwave oven or a hairdryer. If the device appears damaged, discontinue use immediately. To avoid risk of electric shock, do not touch your device or any wires connected to your device during a lightning storm.

Use of third-party accessories may impact your devicesʹ performance. In limited circumstances, use of third-party accessories may void your devicesʹ limited warranty. In addition, use of incompatible third-party accessories may lead to damage to device or the accessory. Read all safety instructions for any accessories before using with your Luna Controller.

Other Safety Considerations

A small percentage of people may be susceptible to blackouts or seizures (even if they have never had one before) when exposed to flashing lights or light patterns, such as when watching video or playing games. If you have experienced seizures or blackouts or have a family history of such occurrences, you should consult a doctor before watching videos or playing games.

If you or your child has a family history of epilepsy or of experiencing any of the aforementioned conditions, consult a physician before using the controller. If you or your child experiences any of these symptoms while using the controller, stop using the controller and seek medical care immediately. Children and teenagers may be more prone to these conditions than adults. Legal guardians should monitor their children closely for these symptoms and should encourage their children to take frequent breaks when using the controller, to use the controller in a well-lit room and to sit a reasonable distance away from the screen.

Engaging in repetitive motions such as pressing buttons or playing certain games may cause you to experience occasional discomfort in your hands, arms, shoulders, neck or other parts of your body.

Discontinue use of your controller and consult a physician if you experience discomfort. To reduce risk of these symptoms, avoid prolonged use and take frequent breaks.

AVOID PROLONGED LISTENING AT HIGH VOLUME. Prolonged listening of the player at high volume can damage the ear of the user. To prevent possible hearing damage, users should not listen at high volume levels for long periods.

LIMITED WARRANTY

This warranty for the Luna Controller (the “Device”) is provided by the entity set forth below. The provider of this warranty is sometimes referred to herein as “We”. When you purchase a new or Certified Refurbished Device, we warrant the Device against defects in materials and workmanship under ordinary consumer use for one year from the date of original retail purchase. During this warranty period, if a defect arises in the Device, and you follow the instructions for returning the Device, we will, at our option, to the extent permitted by law, either (i) repair the Device using either new or refurbished parts, (ii) replace the Device with a new or refurbished Device that is equivalent to the Device that is to be replaced, or (iii) refund to you all or part of the purchase price of the Device. This limited warranty applies, to the extent permitted by law, to any repair, replacement part or replacement device for the remainder of the original warranty period or for ninety days, whichever period is longer. All replaced parts and Devices for which a refund is given shall become our property. This limited warranty applies only to hardware components of the Device that are not subject to accident, misuse, neglect, fire or damage from other external causes, alteration, repair or commercial use.
