Troubleshoot Fingerprint Access for your Fire Max 11

What to do if your fingerprint ID feature stops working.

If you're having trouble using fingerprint access:

  • Try swiping up on the screen after it turns on.
  • Check which profile the tablet is on. If it's not yours, ask the profile owner to sign in and switch profiles.

If your fingerprint still isn't working:

  1. Use your PIN or Password to sign in to your tablet.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Select Security & Privacy.
  4. Select Fingerprint Unlock.
  5. Enter your PIN or Password again.
  6. Tap the trash can icon to delete existing fingerprints.
  7. Tap the + button to recreate your fingerprint.
