Manage Amazon Kids+ Store on Amazon Kids Tablet

Turn on or off Amazon Kids+ Store on your Amazon Kids Tablet.

The Amazon Kids+ Store lets your child browse and install age-appropriate apps, books, TV shows, movies, and more, all from within their profile. Search results and recommendations are automatically tailored to your child's age, so they only see content that's right for them.

Note: The Amazon Kids+ Store is a curated, kid-safe store that is separate from the Google Play Store. Content available in the Kids+ Store is selected and filtered.

Turn on or off the Amazon Kids+ Store

You can enable or disable the Kids+ Store for each child profile. When turned off, your child won't be able to browse or install content from the store.

To turn on or off from Parent Dashboard:

  1. Go to Parent Dashboard (https://parents.amazon.co.uk).
  2. Select the child profile you want to manage.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Select Store.
  5. Turn Amazon Kids+ Store on or off.
To turn on or off from the tablet:
  1. On the child profile, go to Settings.
  2. Select Amazon Kids+ to access parent dashboard.
  3. Select the child profile you want to manage.
  4. Select Settings.
  5. Select Store.
  6. Turn Amazon Kids+ Store on or off.
  7. In this view, you can allow expanded selection for mature content and turn on/off in app purchases.

Additional Store Settings:

While in the Store settings, you can also manage:

  • Expanded selection for mature content — When enabled, your child can browse a wider selection of content beyond the default age-appropriate catalog.
  • In-app purchases — Control whether your child can make purchases within apps.
