Manage Family Profiles on Your Alexa Tablet

Create or manage profiles on your Alexa Tablet.

Each person in your family can have their own profile and personalized experience on Alexa Tablet. You can customize Home screen, collections, preferences, and apps based on the profile.

To switch between profiles, you can either swipe down from top of the screen or go to the lock screen.

To create a new profile:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select Amazon Profiles & Family Library.
    Note: You need internet connection to create or manage profiles.
  3. Tap on Add an Adult Profile or a Child Profile.
  4. Follow the onscreen prompts and complete profile creation.

To update existing child profile:

  1. Go to Settings.
  2. Select Amazon Profiles & Family Library.
    Note: You need internet connection to create or manage profiles.
  3. Tap on the child profile you prefer to update.
  4. Select preferred options for the child profile.
