Return to Home (Clock View) When Playing Audio

Use voice or touch to switch between audio playback and Home on your Echo Spot (2024 Release).

When your Echo Spot plays music or other audio sources, it shows the audio playback screen by default. To see your clock while your audio plays, you can say, "Go Home." Or, swipe down from the top of the screen, then select Home.

These steps return to your Home clock view, plus an Active Media icon that shows audio is playing. To return to the audio playback screen, tap the Active Media icon.

Some ad-supported music or audio skills might occasionally return you to the audio playback screen. If this occurs, follow the steps above to return to the clock.

Tip: The Echo Spot clock view doesn't show the Active Media icon when it's in Night Mode. To go to the audio player while in Night Mode, tap the Echo Spot screen to return to Home and the Active Media icon. The screen returns to Night Mode after a few seconds of inactivity.
