Customize Kindle for Web

Tailor your reading experience to one that suits you.

You can modify the following reading features:

  • Font: Choose from Bookerly, Amazon Ember, and OpenDyslexic fonts.
  • Font Size: Choose from 14 sizes for all fonts.
  • Page Color: Choose from four options to change text and background colors.
  • Layout: Choose to display text in one or two columns.
  • Margin: Choose a narrow, medium, or wide margin.
  • Reading Progress: Select to show time left in chapter, page in book, and/or time left in book.

To change the Kindle for Web reading feature settings:

  1. Open a book and find the Aa icon at the top of the screen. Note: If the menu bar with the icon isn't visible, navigate to the top of the app to reveal it.
  2. Select the Aa icon.
  3. Adjust your settings.
  4. To close the notebook, select the X.

Note: Changes synchronize to other Kindle for Web apps on desktop and mobile browsers.
