Set a Volume Limit on Your Kids' Echo Devices
Use Parent Dashboard to keep the volume down for devices in child mode.
- Sign in to the Parent Dashboard (https://parents.amazon.co.uk) using your Amazon login.
- Select Settings
at the top of your child's profile.
- Under Your Child Echo Devices, select the device that you want to have a volume limit.
- Select the arrow at Set Max Volume, then use the slider to select the maximum volume level you want.
- Select another page or the back arrow to finish. The volume level that you selected automatically saves when you leave the Set Max Volume page.
A volume limit set on a device applies only with Amazon Kids turned on. It doesn't affect other devices, or any devices with Amazon Kids turned off.
Note: You can use the Parent Dashboard to set the volume limit on these supported devices:
- Amazon Echo (3rd Gen or later)
- Echo Dot (3rd Gen or later)
- Note: Some versions of Echo Dot (3rd Gen) don’t support this feature.
- Echo Show 5 (3rd Gen)
- Echo Flex
- Echo Pop
