Share Kindle Unlimited Content with Amazon Family Members

Send borrowed Kindle Unlimited titles to members of your Amazon Family on their devices, or enable automatic sharing.

To set up an Amazon Family, go to Create Your Amazon Family.

To share borrowed content with a member of your Amazon Family:

  1. Select Share Your Kindle Content on the Home screen of the Kindle App.
  2. Select the Amazon Family member that you would like to share with.
  3. Select books that you would like to share.
  4. Select Share Items.
    To turn on automatic sharing, follow steps 1 and 2, and then select Share Future Purchases and Kindle Unlimited titles by Default. Turning on automatic sharing shares future borrows and purchases.
Note: Only the primary Kindle Unlimited account holder can initiate borrows.
