Use Night or Vacation Mode with Alexa+

Night and Vacation modes let you automate household devices based on specific scenarios - managing your home's nighttime settings or protecting your home during extended absences.

Note: Not all features and services will be available at once. New features will roll out across compatible devices during the Early Access period. For more information on available features and supported devices go to: Alexa+

For example, you can:

Lock the doors.
Arm the security system.
Turn off indoor lights.
Turn on the patio light.
Set your Echo devices to Do Not Disturb.
Set your smart thermostat to a desired temperature.
Turn on Away Lighting.

Control modes by:

Saying "Good night," "Switch to night mode"
Saying "Turn on vacation mode," "Switch to vacation mode"
Using the Alexa app
Using the mode controls on Echo Show devices

Note: Night and vacation modes require you setting up home and away modes. The option to Add Night Mode or Add Vacation Mode appear once the setup of home and away modes is complete.
