Stop Fire TV Smart TV from Rebooting

Try these troubleshooting steps if your Fire TV Smart TV is continuously rebooting.

If your Fire TV Smart TV keeps rebooting:

1. Unplug the power cord from your Fire TV Smart TV or wall outlet for at least 30 seconds.
2. Plug the power cord back in.
3. If the issue persists, try to reset your Fire TV Smart TV to its factory settings:
   1. Press and hold the Back button and Right button on your remote together for 10 seconds.
   2. On the TV screen, choose to confirm or cancel the factory reset.
4. If you can't reset your Fire TV Smart TV using your remote, try to reset from recovery mode:
   1. Unplug the power cord from your Fire TV Smart TV or wall outlet.
   2. Press and hold the physical power button on the TV.
   3. While still holding the power button, plug the power cord back into your Fire TV Smart TV or wall outlet.
   4. Wait for the Fire TV logo to appear on the TV screen, and then release the power button.
