Amazon Luna Detects Different Country Than Expected
If you receive a message that your account uses a different country than you expect, your Amazon account settings might be mismatched. You may also need to transfer your account to the right country or region.
To verify your Amazon account settings are configured correctly, check the following settings:
- Make sure your default address is in the correct country.
- Go to Your Addresses and validate that the address marked as Default shows the expected Country/Region.
- If not, select Set as Default under the correct address, or enter in your new address and set it as default.
- Is your Country/Region set correctly for your account?
- Go to Manage Your Content and Devices and select Preferences.
- Validate that your Country/Region settings match your expected Country/Region.
- If not, follow these instructions to transfer your account to the correct Country/Region.
Important: Once you update these settings, it may take up to 3 hours to reflect across systems. Ensure that your Default address is in the same country as your country of residence.
