Alexa+ gives you more ways to play your Audible books, get recommendations, and review your listening history.

Alexa+ can play your Audible books and make recommendations all through natural conversation.

You can speak to Alexa conversationally when you make a request, but some examples of things you can say are:

Ask Alexa to play complex requests and more:

  • "Play [book name] by [author name]."
  • "Play [book name] on Audible."
  • "Resume [book title] by [author]."

Ask Alexa to recommend an audiobook to listen to:

  • "Recommend an audiobook."
  • "Show me audiobooks by [author]."
  • "What’s an audiobook where they talk about [the subject]?"

Ask Alexa to navigate to a specific place in an audiobook:

  • "Go to chapter [number]."
  • "Go to the first chapter."
  • "Read chapter [number]."
