Add a Shopping Profile

A shopping profile is automatically created when an account is opened. You can create up to five additional profiles for one account.

To add a shopping profile:

  1. Go to the Account tab within the app (select the human icon in the bottom tab).
  2. Select the photo/avatar in the upper right corner.
  3. Select Add Profile.
    • Amazon Profiles looks for profiles already created in your account from other services like Prime Video, Alexa, or Amazon Family. Using the same profile for shopping allows better recommendations based on all your Amazon activities.
    • If you find the profile you want to use in the list of options, select it and start shopping. If not, proceed to the next step.
  4. Select Create profile.
  5. Provide a name for the new profile. The name cannot be the same as any other profiles within your account. You also have the option to add a photo/avatar.
  6. Select Continue.

Note:
  • Once you've created or added a new profile, you are automatically switched to this profile and ready to shop.
  • If there are already six active profiles (auto-created plus five additional), you need to remove a profile before you can add more. Select Remove profile and follow the on-screen prompts.
  • You can edit an active profile through the View option.
