Fire TV Remote Batteries Are Draining Fast

Try these troubleshooting steps if the batteries in your Fire TV remote are draining too quickly.

  1. Make sure that you’re using alkaline AAA batteries for best performance and optimal battery life.
  2. Remove the batteries from your remote and wait 30 seconds.
  3. Put the batteries back in your remote.
  4. Press and hold the Home button.
