Your gamertag is your unique identity on Amazon Luna.

When you create a Amazon Luna profile, you're automatically assigned a randomly generated gamertag. You can regenerate a new gamertag from your profile settings whenever you'd like.

Your gamertag isn't the same as your profile name. Your profile name is only visible to your household, and we never show it to other players. Your gamertag is what other players see, and it exists only on Amazon Luna.

We keep these separate to protect your privacy, since profile names may contain personal information. A separate gamertag also means that you can change it without affecting your name across other Amazon Services.

We review all gamertags to make sure that they meet community guidelines.
