Set Daily Time Limits, Total Screen Time, and Learn First on Amazon Kids
Learn how you can control your child's daily device usage, limit overall screen time, and restrict access to games and entertainment until they complete educational activities.
Amazon Kids provides many ways to manage your child’s experience. From the Parent Dashboard, you can set daily screen limits, schedule screen time, and even require learning before accessing entertainment content.
There are different ways to manage screen time limits:
- Set Daily Screen Limit: let you schedule how much time your child gets their Amazon kids device daily.
- Set Schedule: let you schedule when your child can use their Amazon kids devices
- Set Learn First: set how much screen time your child should spend on educational content before entertainment
- Set limits by activity type: with Time by Activity Type, you can set a separate limit for each kind of content, up to 12 hours per activity.
From Parent Dashboard
- Go to the Parent Dashboard
- Select Time Limits
- Select a Child Profile
- Select between the on-screen option to set up the limits
Note: Limits are set per child profile and apply across all of your child's Amazon Kids devices. Adjusting limits in the Parent Dashboard (web or app) updates any daily time settings on your Amazon Kids-enabled devices.
Troubleshoot common issues and provide feedback:
- Within the Parent Dashboard mobile app, visit More (bottom right).
- Go to Feedback and Troubleshooting.
