Set Up Alexa on Amazon Kids Tablet

Alexa in the child profile is a kid-friendly version that gives age-appropriate responses, automatically filters songs with explicit lyrics, blocks voice purchasing, and more.

You can turn Alexa on or off for each child's profile and manage access to Alexa can do from the Parent Dashboard.

Turn on or off Alexa for a child profile:

  1. Go to Parent Dashboard.
  2. Select the child profile you want to manage.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Select Alexa.
  5. Toggle on/off Alexa on tablet.
    Note: Alexa for Kids settings are managed per child profile. When turned off, your child won't be able to use Alexa voice features on their tablet.
