Fit Echo Buds (2019 release, 1st gen) to Your Ear

Use the right sized ear and wing tips to improve comfort and audio quality.

To test your eartip fit:

  1. Open the Alexa app .
  2. Select Devices .
  3. Select your Echo Buds device.
  4. Select Eartip Sizing Test.
Important: If the Eartip Sizing Test isn't in the Alexa app, your Echo Buds (1st Gen) need a software update. Software updates happen while your Echo Buds are in the case and the lid is closed. Check the Alexa app again in 24 hours.

When exercising, try the wing tip to create a comfortable, secure fit.

Note: Make sure the horizontal lines on the wing tips align with the top of the letter R or L on the bud. When placing Echo Buds in the charging case, press down on each bud until the LED light turns green. Then close the case.
