You can’t use Home Theater to play HDMI-In and TV Source sounds.

Note: *You can pair an Echo Sub with any of the Echo devices in the table, but you can’t use the Echo Sub alone. Also, you can only pair one Echo Sub with one (1.1), or two (2.1) matching Echo devices. Amazon 2-series, 4-series and Omni series do not currently support Alexa home cinema.
