Reset Your Fire TV Cube

If your Fire TV Cube is unresponsive, or you want to erase your device settings, press and hold the Volume Down and Mute buttons until the light flashes blue (about 40 seconds).

Tip: Having trouble with your Fire TV? Restart your device first to try to resolve the problem. Just unplug the power adapter and then plug it back in.

Your account information and downloaded content are deleted during a factory reset. To reset your device using Settings, follow these steps:

  1. Go to Settings on your Fire TV Cube.
  2. Select My Fire TV.
  3. Select Reset to Factory Defaults.
