Reset Parental Controls Password on Your Kindle (6th Gen and Newer)

Forgot your Parental Controls password? Reset it from your device using the following steps.

Resetting your device removes all your personal information including lock screen passcode, parental controls settings, and downloaded content.

Note: Determine which Kindle e-reader model you're using before resetting. Refer to our page Identify Your Kindle E-Reader.
  1. Tap the passcode field.
  2. Type 111222777, and then tap OK.
