Fix Wireless Charging Issues for Your Compatible Kindle Device

Is your compatible Kindle device not charging with your wireless charging device?

The following Kindle devices are compatible with wireless charging:

• Kindle Paperwhite Signature Edition
• Kindle Colorsoft Signature Edition

Try these steps to solve the problem:

• Use a "Made for Amazon" charging dock or other compatible Qi-certified charging device.
• Be sure to place your Kindle in the center of the charging device. If you’re using a "Made for Amazon" dock, your Kindle should be in portrait mode.
• Most charging devices have an LED that lights up when the Kindle is charging. Refer to your product guide for more information.
• Be sure that your charging dock is connected to power.
• If your Kindle is in a cover: Make sure the cover flap doesn’t get in the way of the charging device, or try removing the cover.
• Restart your Kindle. Press and hold the power button for 40 seconds or until the device reboots.
