Verify Your Email for a New Account

We may ask that you verify ownership of your email address before creating a new account.

Important:

If you think you already have an account, we recommend using that account. If you're having trouble signing in, select 'Forgot your password?' on the sign-in screen.

You will not be able to create a new account using an email address that’s already associated with an Amazon account. If you attempt to create a new account using an email address that is already associated with an existing Amazon account, please see Manage an ‘Email address already in use’ Error.

To verify your email address when creating a new account:

  1. Select the link in the verification email.
    This email is sent automatically after you attempt to create the new account.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions.
Note: If you don't receive our verification email, do the following:
  • Confirm that you entered your email address correctly .
  • Check if the email is in your spam or junk folder.
