Send Kindle Books to Individual Recipients

When buying books for others using the "Buy for others" option, you can send books to recipients by entering their email during your checkout or do it from Your Orders.

  1. Go to Your Orders.
  2. Locate your order and select Manage eBooks.
  3. Select Copy link with instructions next to the link you'd like to send.
  4. Open your email program and paste the link and instructions into the body of a new email.
  5. Enter the recipient's email address and the email subject, and send the email.
Note:
  • If you don't live in the same country as your recipient, the book won't be available for your recipient. The recipient is unable to redeem the book and you may distribute that copy to another recipient or request a refund on the unredeemed copy.
  • Amazon Business customers can't purchase Kindle books as gifts.
