Connect a USB Storage to Your Fire TV Cube

Move applications to a USB storage to free up your Fire TV Cube internal space.

Fire TV Cubes support flash drives with FAT32 formatting. Fire TV Cube (3rd Generation) also supports NTFS formatting. USB drives other than flash drives must be powered externally.

  1. Insert a compatible USB flash drive into the USB port on the back of the device.
  2. Go to Settings on your Fire TV Cube.
  3. Select Applications .
  4. Select Manage Installed Applications.
  5. Choose the apps you want to move.
  6. Select Move to USB Storage.
Note: Some applications can't be moved to a USB storage.
