Update the Software on Echo Auto

Your smartphone automatically downloads available software updates for Echo Auto when connected to the Internet.

When your phone has downloaded Echo Auto updates, they install the next time your phone connects to your Echo Auto over Bluetooth. You can check the software version in the device settings section of the Alexa app.

Note: To force an immediate update for your Echo Auto, uninstall and reinstall the Alexa app on your smartphone. To remove the app, use your phone's uninstall procedures. Then, find the Alexa mobile app at your phone's app store and reinstall it. Uninstalling the app doesn't affect your existing device connections. Reinstalling the app sends updates to your on-the-go Alexa devices, including Echo Auto.
