What Is Doorbell Live View?

When the doorbell is pressed, you get a live feed of your camera on Echo devices with screens.

If you're using your Echo device, Alexa pauses streaming music or video for the live camera feed. On Fire TV, Alexa displays the live camera feed. Audio is muted on the doorbell and on the device by default. To turn audio on, tap the Mic icon on the screen or say, “Talk to the front door”.

Doorbell Live View is supported on all generations of Fire TV, Echo Show and Echo Spot.

Note: If you have more than one device, Alexa makes the doorbell announcement on the preferred device you selected in the Alexa app.
