Troubleshoot Hearing Aid and Device Connectivity with Fire TV
Try these troubleshooting steps if you can't pair your Bluetooth hearing aids or have issues with audio quality or with syncing.
Note: Compatible Starkey hearing aids, Widex hearing aids, and Cochlear hearing devices are supported on:

To troubleshoot issues with your hearing aids:
- Disconnect your hearing aids from other Bluetooth devices. You can't pair multiple devices to hearing aids when connected to your Fire TV device.
- Make sure that your hearing aids are in pairing mode. Follow the manufacturer's instructions.
- Fully charge your hearing aids and make sure to turn them on.
- Make sure that you’re within 10 ft (3 m) of your Fire TV device and have line of sight.
- Restart your hearing aids following the manufacturer’s instructions.
- Try to connect your Fire TV device over the 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
- If paired, disconnect your hearing aids from the Fire TV device:
- Go to Settings
from your Fire TV menu.
- Select Accessibility
.
- Select Hearing Aids and choose your hearing aids.
- Select Disconnect Hearing Aids.
- Go to Settings
- Try to connect your hearing aids to the Fire TV device again:
- Go to Settings
from your Fire TV menu.
- Select Accessibility
.
- Select Hearing Aids.
- Select Connect.
- Go to Settings
