Turn On Hearing Accessibility Settings on Echo Devices with a Screen

Use the device settings to turn on accessibility options for hearing impairments.

Note: Settings menu items for the Echo Hub and Echo Show 5 (all generations) may vary, and those devices will receive a software update soon.

  1. Say, "Go to Settings," or go to the device settings on your Echo Show:
    • If you're using Alexa+, select the Menu icon on your screen, and then select Settings .
    • If you're using the original Alexa, swipe down from the top of the screen and select Settings .
  2. Select Accessibility.
  3. Turn on the available features.
