Connect Fire TV to Supported Third-Party Devices

Use your voice to control supported third-party devices, such as antennas, soundbars and AV receivers.

Before getting started, locate the remotes for the devices you're connecting to Fire TV.

Fire TV devices automatically detect compatible equipment and provide an on-screen interface to add them. If equipment isn't detected, or you'd like to set up Equipment Control manually, follow the steps on this page.

To connect your devices:

  1. Go to Settings on your Fire TV.
  2. Select Equipment Control.
  3. Select Manage Equipment.
    Note: Select Advanced Settings on this screen to activate or deactivate Automated Device Discovery.
  4. Select Add Equipment and choose the equipment you'd like to add.
