Set Up Your Amazon Smart Air Quality Monitor

Use the Alexa app to add your Amazon Smart Air Quality Monitor to your device groups.

If the LED light isn't blinking blue, that means your device isn't in setup mode. Press and hold the multifunction button for 5-10 seconds until there's an alternating blue and purple-blinking light.

Note: Before setup, download the latest version of the Alexa App.
  1. Place your device in an area with good airflow and don’t obstruct the air intake vent. For optimal sensor readings, keep your device away from direct sunlight and in open space that’s less than 500 square feet. Avoid placing your device near air vents, such as an A/C or heater vent.
  2. Plug your device into the wall. A blue light blinks on the device.
  3. On your mobile device, open the Alexa app .
  4. Select Devices .
  5. Select .
  6. Select Add Device.
  7. Select Air Quality Monitor.
  8. Select Amazon.
  9. If prompted by the app, scan the barcode located on the bottom of your device.
  10. Follow the instructions to set up your device.
Note: You can check your indoor air quality score in the Alexa app after the initial 7-minute calibration completes. The device will then take up to 2 days to adjust to the surrounding environment. If you unplug your device, the device will go through the 7-minute calibration again.
