Reset Your Echo Wall Clock

If your clock is unresponsive, or the hands have detached, factory reset it.

  5. Go back to the device settings page.
  6. Under Connected Devices, select Echo Wall Clock and then Unpair.
  7. On your Echo Wall Clock, press the pairing button five times to reset the device. The center post rotates to the 12:00 position, and the status light pulses blue.
When the reset is complete, the status light turns solid green.
  8. If the light doesn’t turn solid green, and the hands aren't at the 12:00 position:
    1. Carefully lift the hands from their posts.
    2. Align the notches on the inside of the clock hands with their posts, so that they are at the 12:00 position.
    3. Push the clock hands back onto their posts. The shorter "hour" hand goes first.
When the reset is complete, the status light turns solid green.
  9. Set up the Echo Wall Clock again.
