Gift Orders
You can send items as gifts if they're Fulfilled by Amazon.co.uk or from selected sellers.
Marking your item as a gift allows you to:
- Include a packing slip so the recipient knows who sent it.
- Hide prices on the packing slip.
- Include a personal message.
- Add gift wrap.
- Share a digital copy of your gift receipt with the recipient (this also gives the recipient the choice to digitally unwrap their gift after it has been delivered).
Note: Share a link to the tracking page, with the gift recipient.
The gift message is printed on the packing slip. If you added gift wrap, the packing slip is placed in an envelope marked "Don't spoil the surprise". The name and address you provide as the shipping address appear on the packing slip. If your gift order includes items intended for different recipients, make sure you enter a gift message for each item. The recipient can use the packing slip to return an item, if necessary.
If you choose not to gift-wrap the item (or the item can't be wrapped), the gift message is printed on the packing slip. Some items can't be wrapped because of their unusual size, weight, or shape. These items often arrive in their original packaging. We'll state this during the checkout process. If available, you can select Ship in Amazon box on the checkout page so that the contents aren't revealed. There's no additional charge for this option.
Purchased gift items don't affect the recommendations we give you.
Items you order from a registry or Wish List are marked as purchased so the recipient doesn't receive a duplicate gift.
