Device-Related Issues with Amazon Luna

Try the following for issues with lag, buffering, or choppy gameplay related to your device.

Note: Check that you're using the latest operating system, app, or browser software version for your device.

Fire TV

  • For Fire TV, make sure that Game Mode is enabled on your TV. This setting is usually found by going to Settings or Setup on your TV.

Chrome Browser on Windows PC or Mac

  • Make sure that hardware acceleration is turned on. To verify that hardware acceleration is on, type: "chrome://settings/?search=hardware" in the address bar of your browser.
Important: Some browsers require additional permissions for keyboard and mouse input. Select Allow when Chrome requests for keyboard and mouse permissions.

Quality Issues on Mac

Turn off Location Services while gaming on Luna. Lag and buffering issues can occur when Location Services are enabled on Mac.

To turn off Location Services:

  1. Open System Preferences, and then Security & Privacy.
  2. Select Location Services, and then turn off Enable Location Services.
    Note: Use the same steps to turn Location Services back on when you're done playing games on Luna.

Fire Tablet

Turn off Location Services while gaming on Luna. Lag and buffering issues can occur when Location Services are enabled on your Fire Tablet.

  1. Select Settings.
  2. Select Location-based Services.
  3. Turn location services off.
