Lights Don't Turn On with Wake-Up Alarms

Your Alexa alarm works, but the Wake-up Lights don't turn on.

Tip: To set a wake-up alarm by voice, specify the light name. Say "Wake me up at [time] with [light name]."

Check that your wake-up alarm is set for 2 minutes or longer.
Make sure that you are using an Alexa-enabled device with a smart bulb, dimmer switch, or plug.
Make sure that your alarm shows Wake-Up Light Enabled in the Alexa app.
Make sure that the device type for your plug or dimmable switch is set to Light in the Alexa app.
