Automatically Upload Contacts to Alexa and Echo Devices

You can automatically connect contacts from your phone from the Alexa app.

Note: To delete imported contacts, you must turn off contact importing. You can't delete individually imported contacts.

To turn contact importing on or off:

  1. Open the Alexa app .
  2. Select More .
  3. Open Communicate .
  4. Select the Contacts icon .
  5. Select the Menu icon .
  6. Select Import Contacts.
  7. Turn Import Contacts on or off.
