Issues with Prime Video Promotional Codes and Gift Cards

How to troubleshoot Prime Video error codes such as 2039.

To resolve issues with ordering Prime Video content:

Ensure that the Gift Card or promotional code has been loaded to your account correctly. To do so, go to Your Account > Gift Cards to load or reload your balance. You don’t need to have a special Gift Card for purchasing or renting Prime Video content.

Note: Some promotional codes can’t be used on Prime Video purchases.
Ensure that the Gift Card or promotional code hasn’t already been used.
Ensure that your payment method for digital payments is up to date. To make changes, visit Update Your Payment Method
