Delete Alexa Voice Recordings Automatically

Set your account to automatically delete Alexa voice recordings.

Open the Alexa app .
Open More .
Select Alexa Privacy.
Select Manage Your Alexa Data.
In the Voice Recordings section, select Choose how long to save recordings.
Choose a time period to keep your voice recordings and then select Confirm.

Note: Voice recordings older than the selected time period are deleted automatically.

When choosing "Don't save recordings," it may take up to 36 hours for our systems to take effect. Voice recordings will no longer be saved, and existing voice recordings and voice ID associated with this account will be deleted. You will be able to review the transcripts of your Alexa requests for 30 days in Review Voice History before they are automatically deleted.

Note: Voice recordings are used to improve the accuracy of your interactions with Alexa. Deleting voice recordings associated with your account may degrade your experience over time.
