Change the Language You Use to Talk to Alexa in the Alexa App

You can change the language spoken in the Alexa app and on Alexa accessories that connect through the Alexa app.

To change the language Alexa speaks in the Alexa app:

  1. Open the Alexa app"".
  2. Open More and select Settings .
  3. Select Alexa App Settings.
  4. Under Language, select the current language.
  5. Choose your preferred language.
    Tip: Your Alexa experience is best when you select the language supported for your marketplace.
Important: Changing the language Alexa speaks in the app doesn’t change the text language in the app. The Alexa app text language matches the language set in your mobile device settings.
