Add Widgets on Your Echo Device with a Screen

Customize your home screen by adding widgets from the Widget Gallery.

Note: The Settings menu items for the Echo Hub and Echo Show 5 (all generations) may vary, and those devices will receive a software update soon.
To add widgets to your device:
  1. Go to the Widget Gallery:
    • If you're using Alexa+, select the Menu icon on your screen, and then select the Widget Gallery icon. You can also access the Widget Gallery by pressing on a widget for a few moments on your home screen and selecting Add Widget.
    • If you’re using the original Alexa, select the Widget Gallery icon on your screen. For Echo Show 15 and Echo Show 21, swipe down from the top of the screen and select the Widget Gallery icon.
  2. Select the widget that you want to add. You can add one or more widgets by selecting + in the top-right corner of each widget.
